Jeff Philbin has an extensive background in sales & marketing with a strong emphasis on customer service and team building initiatives. He has a diverse history from nearly 15 years in the hospitality industry to now being the Director of Marketing for the Tampa based, geotech construction company, Helicon. In his leadership role, he leads and coordinates all marketing functions to drive sales, profitability, and visibility with consistent marketing & sales activities. He manages all agency and vendor partners and internal cross functional resource teams to create innovative advertising campaigns and competitive public relations programs where he is responsible for the development of market planning to drive sales, customer retention, and brand awareness. He develops the strategic vision, activities, and collateral materials for the sales team leading the brand strategy and implementation for all advertising and communication initiatives: media, radio, video, print, social, email, app, digital/web design while managing the execution of promotional activities including print, trade show, direct mail, displays, promotional items, signage, and communication. Coupled with directing content development for the company website, white papers, blogs, tweets, and other forms of social media from analyzing website SEO and engagement across all social channels.
Jeff believes in paying forward and giving back to his community by supporting nearly 3 dozen unique organizations or charitable and philanthropic means while also engaging in several leadership and networking organizations in the Tampa Bay area. He was a recipient for being an up and comer in the category of “Top 30 Under 30” professionals by the Tampa Bay Business Journal in 2013 and was a contestant on season 8 of the Fox TV show, “MasterChef”. He is also in the 2017/18 Leadership Tampa Bay class and an active member in the CEO Council of Tampa Bay.
